"At first, I was doing 3GStrong twice a week because my principal told us we had to. After a few times of doing 3GStrong, my 5th graders started asking for it on days I hadn't planned to. Doing 3GStrong really helps set the tone for the day and allows us to connect. Now, I can't imagine starting my day without out it."
5th Grade Teacher
"Before 3GStrong, my daughter struggled to control her emotions and lacked empathy for others. I've watched her grow so much with just one year of 3GStrong. I'm excited that she gets to continue learning these skills with 3GStrong another year before middle school."
4th Grade Parent
"Since using the 3GStrong program, students are more aware and sensitive to their classmates and more willing to give grace to others. The program has increased their ability to collaborate and their perspective has grown to be less "me" centered."
3rd Grade Teacher
"3GStrong gave our students time to discuss feelings and thoughts during a calm environment. This way, when strong feeling did occur, students could more clearly identify their feelings and use coping tools."
Roanoke Elementary, AlphaBEST Site Director
"While implementing 3GStrong on our campus, I was able to witness the daily influence of the SEL curriculum in every classroom on campus. Teachers and students used a common language and had a shared understanding of what the culture was at our school. As a result, the number of discipline incidents declined over the first semester related to student conflict. Students were having their social-emotional gaps closed thanks to 3GStrong and our daily class meetings."
"3GStrong has helped us make things more calm. We introduced breathing breaks into our daily schedule, and it has truly helped our kids deal better with their emotions and make better decisions."
WATKINS ELEMENTARY, ALPHABEST SITE DIRECTOR
"I made it through last year and so did my students because of 3GStrong!! The program is such a blessing!!"
